Quick Overview:

B complex vitamins are critical for many processes inherent to life. They serve as cofactors for enzymatic reactions, and are necessary for gene expression, oxidation-reduction reactions, energy production, detoxification, and formation of other biologically essential compounds. All the B vitamins play a role in mitochondrial function, and deficiencies may be associated with oxidative stress and mitochondrial damage.*

Although many of the B vitamins are present in the diet particularly in an era of “food fortification,” a large portion of the population still experiences deficiencies, particularly of B6, B12, and folate. Deficiencies may be attributable to age, hypochlorhydria, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, alcohol use, poor nutritional intake, and use of medications such as proton-pump inhibitors, diuretics, metformin, and hormonal contraceptives. Genetic polymorphisms also may impact the ability of specific forms of B vitamins (e.g. folic acid used in food fortification and in cheap vitamin supplements) to meet the body’s needs.*

The activated form of B2 (riboflavin 5’-phosphate) with B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folate (as folinic acid), methylated B12 and trimethylglycine provide the factors necessary for healthy methylation processes without creating “methyl traps” or hypermethylation symptoms.*
Milk thistle supports hepatic metabolism and detoxification, enhancing bile flow to match with the potentiation of hepatic detoxification reactions that B vitamins may induce.*
Folinic acid, a tetrahydrofolic acid derivative, provides a form of folate which circumvents genetic issues that affect folate transport or metabolism.*
Quicksilver Delivery Systems™ optimizes bioavailability with the liposomal delivery format, bypassing gastrointestinal problems that adversely impact B vitamin absorption for many, delivering the phospholipid-encased B vitamin package directly into circulation.*
The phospholipids delivered with the B complex vitamins nourish the membranes of the cells, ensuring proper function for the absorption of nutrients and the excretion of cellular waste products and toxins.*

Quicksilver Scientific Methyl B-Complex

Methyl B-Complex: Meet your methylation needs with liposomal delivery for optimal absorption!

B complex vitamins are critical for many processes inherent to life. They serve as cofactors for enzymatic reactions, and are necessary for gene expression, oxidation-reduction reactions, energy production, detoxification, and formation of other biologically essential compounds. All the B vitamins play a role in mitochondrial function, and deficiencies may be associated with oxidative stress and mitochondrial damage.1 Although many of the B vitamins are present in the diet particularly in an era of "food fortification," a large portion of the population still experiences deficiencies, particularly of B6, B12, and folate. Deficiencies may be attributable to age, hypochlorhydria, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, alcohol use, poor nutritional intake, and use of medications such as proton-pump inhibitors, diuretics, metformin, and hormonal contraceptives.2,3,4,5 Although serum levels of B12, B6, and folate may suggest sufficient levels compared to laboratory ranges, measurement of the metabolites homocysteine and methylmalonic acid suggest that tissue deficiencies are quite prevalent.6 Genetic polymorphisms also may impact the ability of specific forms of B vitamins (e.g. folic acid used in food fortification and in cheap vitamin supplements) to meet the body's needs.7

What's unique about the Quicksilver Scientific Liposomal Methyl B-complex? The activated form of B2 (riboflavin 5'-phosphate) with B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folate (as folinic acid), methylated B12 and trimethylglycine provides the factors necessary for healthy methylation processes without creating "methyl traps" or hypermethylation symptoms.* Milk thistle supports hepatic metabolism and detoxification and enhances bile flow to match with the potentiation of hepatic detoxification reactions that B-vitamins may induce.* Folinic acid, a tetrahydrofolic acid derivative, provides a form of folate which circumvents genetic issues that affect folate transport or metabolism.8 The liposomal format bypasses the gastrointestinal problems that adversely impact B vitamin absorption for many, delivering the phospholipid encased B vitamin package directly into circulation.*

Quicksilver's Etheric Delivery™ Phospholipid Encapsulation System brings the power of intra-venous therapy into a convenient oral delivery.* Our Etheric Delivery™ improves upon liposomal technology with smaller, more stable, single-layer spheres made from the highest-grade ingredients available. In addition to exceptional absorption rates, lipid nanospheres like the ones produced by Quicksilver Scientific have demonstrated the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, deposit their cargo intracellularly and enhance lymphatic circulation of nutrients.9,10 Also, the phospholipids that compose the liposome shell feed the cell membranes;11 this helps ensure the proper function for the absorption of nutrients and the excretion of cellular waste products and toxins.*
